How much does a website cost in 2026, and what is in the price
There is no single answer to “how much does a website cost”, because a website can be one page with a form or a booking system in three languages. Here is what actually moves the price, which costs are often missed, and how to compare quotes without a surprise at the end.

What determines the price
The price follows the amount of work, not the page count on its own. Five pages built from one template cost less than three pages that each have their own design and features.
- Design: a ready-made template or a design made for your brand.
- Features: forms, bookings, an online store, payments, connections to other systems.
- Content: who writes the copy and where the photos and video come from.
- Languages: every extra language is more copy, more checking, and more upkeep.
- SEO and speed basics: a structure search engines can read and pages that load fast on a phone.
The costs after launch
Many quotes only cover the build. A website also has running costs, and it is better to know them up front so you can compare quotes fairly.
- Hosting and a domain, paid every year.
- Paid tools and plugins, if the site uses any.
- Changes and new pages as the business evolves.
- New content, without which a site goes stale and loses ground in Google.
One-off project or monthly work
If you need one site and will rarely touch it afterwards, a one-off project makes sense. If the site is your main source of customers and you want regular new content, improvements, and ads, monthly work is more predictable than a separate quote for every change.
What it costs at Weakless
Our prices are published. Weakless Launch is €1,500 per month for one defined project, such as a landing page or a small site with a page limit set in the scope. Weakless Growth is €3,000 per month when, beyond the site, you want video, graphics, and automation every month. The partnership is an official 12-month contract, billed month by month in advance against an invoice.
Before the first invoice you get in writing exactly what we will do. Hosting, the domain, paid software, and stock images are not included in the price and are named separately, up front.
Six questions to ask anyone before you pay
These questions protect your money whether you work with us, another agency, or a freelancer.
- Is there a written scope of exactly what will be built?
- How many rounds of revisions are included?
- Who owns the code, the design, and the files after payment?
- What is not included: hosting, domain, photos, copy?
- What happens after launch, and what do changes cost?
- Is there a minimum contract term, and how do you end it?
Frequently asked questions
Is hosting included in the website price?
At Weakless, no. Hosting and the domain are paid separately, and we name them up front so you know the full cost from the start.
Who owns the website after it is built?
You do. The files and code made for you transfer once the invoice for that work is paid. Third-party tools and fonts stay under their own licences.
How long does a build take?
It depends on the scope. With Weakless Launch, the stages are written down with the scope before the first invoice, so you know the order of work before you pay.
